  • Instagram is testing a new ‘Favourites’ feature, letting users categorise preferred Instagram accounts’ posts higher in your feed.
  • Twelve not-for-profit groups in QLD will be receiving an infrastructure boost. Projects include building emergency refuge accommodation, upgrading community halls and creating new community support hubs.
  • Facebook is rolling out optimised conversions for shops. Advertisers on Facebook should be able to direct 10% of their traffic to their Instagram and Facebook shops.

  • Instagram is launching Map Search, a new discovery tool featuring popular tagged locations. Map Search will make it easier for users to find small businesses in their area.

  • Facebook launches Ray-Ban Stories this week in collaboration with the sunglasses brand’s new Smart Glasses. Ray-Ban’s Smart Glasses features include taking photos, videos while listening to music and/or taking phone calls.
