Request deletion of your data
This page explains how to ask Localsearch to delete the personal data we hold about you as a website visitor, enquirer, or business contact, and what to expect once you've asked.

You can ask us to delete any of the following, where it's tied to you:
- Enquiry and contact form submissions
- Marketing audience records (name, email, phone, consent history)
- LocalBuddy chat transcripts tied to your session
- Phone-click and website audit records tied to your email
- Lead submissions synced from Meta Lead Ads
How to request
Email marketing@localsearch.com.au with the subject line "Data deletion request". To help us find your records, please include:
- Your full name
- The email address(es) you've used with Localsearch
- Business name, if applicable
- A phone number we can reach you on
- The page or form the data was submitted through, if known
Using the button above pre-fills all of this for you.
Verifying it's you
We may reply to confirm the request came from you before we delete anything. This stops someone else deleting your data without permission.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Some records (billing, legal, fraud prevention) may be retained where the law requires.
