Tips to grow your business

On 31 January Localsearch was named winner of the Best Local Campaign at the APAC Search Awards in Melbourne for their work with Balance Mobility.

The APAC Search Awards acknowledge the top-performing agencies, companies, campaigns, and individuals in the Asia-Pacific region. After being shortlisted late last year against some of Australia’s top agency talents, we were honoured to be selected as the winners of Best Local Campaign for our work with a Tweed and Gold Coast based business — Balance Mobility.

In 2018, Balance Mobility were for looking for a marketing partner who would help them with their local area marketing, which at the time was Northern NSW and Southern Gold Coast. Working closely with their local Digital Marketing Specialist, Steve, and our team of experts we were able to devise a local marketing strategy that allowed Balance Mobility to grow and scale. Nearly six years on, a few new shopfronts later, and we’re still right by Balance Mobilities side — helping them grow every step of the way!

Balance Mobility’s Story:

Balance Mobility is a family-owned and operated store specialising in the supply and hire of mobility and medical aids, rehabilitation and special needs equipment. Expanding from one store to two, Balance Mobility has experienced impressive growth now servicing the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region, and they’re not stopping there!

Local Impact: Balance Mobility’s Campaign

In a bid to enhance local reach and impact, we put together a strategic Google Ads campaign with the primary goal of increasing calls and form inquiries. The campaign targeted a diverse local audience, spanning seniors, middle-aged individuals, and professional caregivers in the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region.

Through keyword optimisation, geo-targeting, and creative calls-to-action, the campaign tailored its approach to resonate specifically with the local demographic. Landing pages were optimised to provide comprehensive local information, utilising customer reviews and accessible inquiry forms. Aiming to keep the campaign budget-friendly, the team used hyper-targeted ads, focusing on long-tail queries for a localised impact.

Balance Mobility stood out in the competitive local landscape by emphasising unique attributes of their services and community presence. A conversion-focused website design prioritised features crucial for local engagement, resulting in increased local phone calls and inquiries. In short, the campaign not only addressed local area marketing challenges but showcased the importance of a localised approach in achieving impactful conversions.
