The up-and-coming athletes at Orana Physical Culture are the latest junior sporting club to become a part of the Localsearch Little Legends Program.
An article about the partnership featured in the Daily Liberal speaks of the club and how the sponsorship will help them empower girls of all ages.
“A spokesperson for the club said they looked forward to the year ahead of empowering girls and women through the joy of this dance sport and building a community through shared experiences and shared achievements.
Orana Physical Culture has classes available for all abilities and age groups, from preschoolers to ladies. Physie is a form of dance that combines aerobic movements, ballet, jazz hip hop and yoga.”
The club began in 2018 with the aim of sharing the founders’ passion for physie, a sport combining different movements to improve all areas of physical health. While in 2018, they aimed to reach 30 members, they now have more than 101 members of all ages and abilities.
As part of their sponsorship, the club receives funds, a free upgraded listing on localsearch.com.au, a merchandise pack and an exclusive photoshoot. Some of the photos from the photoshoot are also used in a feature in the club’s local phone book.
The Localsearch Little Legends Programs aims to support junior sporting clubs throughout regional Australia. Over the life of the partnership, the team receives funds to help purchase new uniforms, equipment or whatever it is they need.
