Important Dates for Your November 2023 Content Planner

Melbourne Cup: Tuesday, 7 November 2023

It’s the race that stops the nation, but don’t be fooled into thinking the entire country are fans of the iconic race. We recommend using caution when creating content for this day.

Keeping your business and personal views separate is highly recommended. Of course, just use your judgement and gauge the chatter about the day in your community before you post.

Ways to recognise Melbourne Cup on your social media:

  • Post on social media or create a Google Business Profile post if your business will be closed for the day, during the race or for the afternoon.
  • If you work in the beauty sector, share images or videos showcasing the Melbourne Cup’s renowned fashion and style, focusing on elegant outfits, fascinators, and accessories.
