Phone directories made for the user
The problem with most phone directories is the tiny font size and their hefty weight—but not ours. When designing our directories, we decided on two columns instead of four, allowing us to enlarge both our font and ad size to make everything easier to read. As we print regional-specific directories, we can keep the books compact, although we have placed our A to Z residential section at the front of the book so there’s no need to flick through the entire book.
Then there’s our maps. Regional towns are often quite spread apart, so only including CBD areas isn’t useful if you need to find a route from point A to point B. You’ll find every street, road, avenue, crescent, landmark and more spanning the entire region, not just the ‘big’ towns.
