The regional phone directories that make a difference

The problem with most phone directories is the tiny font size and their hefty weight—but not ours. When designing our directories, we try to balance the size of the font and the amount of content so it’s still easy to read. As we print regional-specific directories, we can keep the books compact, although we have placed our A to Z residential section at the front of the book so there’s no need to flick through the entire book.

Then there are our maps. Regional towns are often forgotten in the mapping processing, however, we make our maps as specific as possible. This makes it easy to find a business based on surrounding landmarks.

Our greener directory philosophy

We deliver more than 3 million directories to Aussie households each year, so it’s important to us to be environmentally conscious. To enforce this, we source paper for our books from mills with the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) Chain of Custody Certification.

When selecting partnerships with businesses and suppliers, it’s vital to us they are also environmentally conscious in their own practices.

At the end of the day, we wouldn’t be where we are without the communities who use our books and grow their business using our services. On the covers of our directories, you may notice some smiling faces from junior athletes. These are just some of the junior league teams we sponsor as part of our Little Legends sponsorship program.

We’re proud to say we help junior sporting teams throughout regional Australia buy new uniforms, get to away games or whatever they need. If you know a team who could use a hand to show the world what they’ve got, let us know—we’ll see what we can do to help.

When is your next phone directory on its way?
