The Localsearch Talent ID Program is a high-performance program focusing on the performance potential of surfers with behaviours supporting creativity, resilience and healthy risk-taking. It will comprise of nine camps, spread over 34 camp days for surfers aged from 9 to 17 years.
“Supporting the community has always been part of what we do,” says Localsearch CEO Daniel Stoten. “We’ve been helping hundreds of local community groups, junior sporting clubs and charities all over Australia for years, and we’re proud to be part of this exciting journey with Surfing Australia.”
Localsearch Head of Marketing Adam Boote says they jumped at the chance to get involved.
“Many of our values at Localsearch align with what Surfing Australia is about—helping people get more involved in the things they love. So a partnership with Surfing Australia was the natural next step.”
Localsearch will also activate as a support sponsor of the Nudie Australian Boardriders Battle National Final. The Nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is Australia’s largest boardrider event involving more than 65 clubs in eight state qualifying rounds, all of which will host Localsearch branding.
The partnership will see Localsearch branding across Surfing Australia’s vast media network including the Surfing Australia website, mySURF.tv website, social media and the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC).
Surfing Australia CEO Andrew Stark commented on the new partnership, “We are very pleased to be partnering with Localsearch, particularly on our Talent ID program. Localsearch will help elevate the program status to new heights and we very much look forward to working with them over the next year.”
